You guys are awesome! I have already gotten several packages of cozy blankets, pjs, cute slippers and more! I’m so excited about this project. I have a doctor’s appointment this coming Tuesday and will be delivering my first load of Pajama Packs to the BMT floor. One of my favorite items on the wishlist is THIS pillowcase. My sweet friend Joy sent this to me when I was inpatient this year. It is so soft and comfortable, especially when you are losing your hair and everything hurts because of chemo. Plus it is encouraging with all the sayings on it. They are only $10 and can be delivered by Monday if they are ordered today. I thought we could have a pillowcase blitz and see how many we could get ordered today and have on the floor this week – it will be a great way to start reaching out to these patients! So let’s do it! Say it with me, 1…2…3…. PILLOWCASE BLITZ!
(even if it doesn’t get here by Monday, I’ll be right back up there. The doctors love me so much they keep asking me to come back every couple of weeks 😉)
