We drove to Atlanta to see my integrative medicine doctor who I had been seeing for a couple of years. He examined me and told me he felt certain it was cancer and encouraged me to see a surgeon to have the tumor removed. He offered options for natural treatment if that was how I chose to proceed. On the way home I remembered the name of a surgeon in Augusta that someone had recommended to me back in 2015. I called, they took our insurance, so I made an appointment for the following week.
