So the biopsy that was scheduled for today has been moved until Monday or Tuesday. Because of the addition of the oral chemo regimen they wanted to postpone a few more days. This targeted therapy is great because it targets the specific type of cancer I have but it also slows down the process of my counts coming back up. The doctor said that there isn’t much there for them to test right now and he wants to make sure that if there are still cancer cells there (which we are all praying there aren’t!) they have time to multiply enough to be detected. For lack of a better way of putting it, they don’t want to get a false positive. This just gives us more time to pray! When they give me the exact day I will let you all know 🙂
